  2. Different experts have different opinion about the cause of Diabetes type 2. Generally physicians advice Anti Diabetic medicines & low carbs in meal but no one talks about the root cause.

  3. Dr. Juma, in type 2 diabetes, insulin production is usually normal but the defect is in the receptors. Meanwhile, type 1 diabetes is caused by low or no secretion of insulin. Thank you for your question.

  7. Dr Sunil, insulin resistance is caused by defect in the receptors, not deficiency. There is no evidence of receptor deficiency in type 2 diabetes.

  8. Question is about type 2 dm. In type 2dm there is insulin resistance so ans should be C. ie insulin receptor deficincey.
    That is my thought process
